Preparing For A QHHT® Session

Preparing For A Session

#1 - Engage the Right Side of the Brain

In the week leading up to your session, try to activate your creative, imaginative side. This helps soften the analytical part of the mind and supports a smoother regression. You can:

  • Visualize your favorite grounding place

  • Take peaceful walks, color / draw

  • Listen to relaxing music

  • Do guided meditations / visualizations

  • Imagine your dream home or peaceful world

Anything that gets your creative, right-brain energy flowing is helpful. Your thoughts can drift during preparation, and everything will still work exactly as it needs to.

#2 - Create Your List of Questions

Bring a neatly written or typed list of questions you’d like guidance on. A few guidelines:

  • Questions should be about you and your life

  • You can ask about people in your life, but only in relation to you

  • Make the questions open-ended

  • Put the most important questions first

  • You may ask anything - no judgment, no limits

  • Organize them so I can easily read and follow during the session

This list is your roadmap for the Higher Self portion of the session.

#3 - Set Your Intentions

Before your session, connect with why you’re coming.

I use GPI - Ground, Protect, Intend - in my own daily practice for grounding, and it works beautifully here as well. What do you hope to gain? What clarity, healing, or answers are you seeking?

This is You (Higher Self) speaking to you (conscious self), and I am simply the facilitator. Open yourself up in the days leading up to the session. You are the one doing the work.

Your Higher Self has been waiting for this exact moment - the connection is already forming.

Repeat to yourself: “I have clear and direct communication with my Higher Self”

#4 - Relax & Release Expectations

Your process began the moment you felt guided to schedule your session. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to experience QHHT. A few important notes:

  • Avoid researching past lives or QHHT stories before your session (this keeps the left brain from trying to predict anything)

  • Come with zero expectations - everyone receives information differently

  • You cannot fail at this. There is no wrong way to experience your session.

  • You are safe to feel, see, sense, or know whatever comes through

Think of this as giving your logical mind a well-deserved break. Your mind already knows how to relax into this experience - this state is natural to you.

#5 - Sleep & Nervous System Preparation

A calm nervous system helps the session flow beautifully. Try to:

  • Get a full night of rest the night before

  • Avoid alcohol the day before and day of the session

  • Avoid emotional overwhelm or heated situations 24 hours prior if possible

  • Meditate and set your intentions

We work with what arises, but rest truly helps your experience.

Your nervous system already recognizes safety, and it will naturally settle the closer you get to your session.

#6 - Food, Water & Grounding

The goal is to raise your awareness, not dampen it though external substances.

  • Drink plenty of water in the days before your session

  • Eat a good breakfast

  • Bring a grounding snack for before/after

  • Reduce caffeine the morning of your session (helps relaxation)

  • Avoid recreational substances the day of (longer if possible)

  • Avoid processed foods, if possible

This is a 4–6 hour experience, so nourishment helps. Everything you need for this experience will come effortlessly. Your only job is to allow.

#7 - Clothing & Comfort

Wear something comfortable and non-restrictive. You will be on the couch for at least two hours. I will have plenty of blankets.

  • Loose clothing

  • Soft layers

  • Warm socks

  • Avoid tight waistbands, bras that dig in, heavy jewelry, or anything that may distract you

Your physical comfort supports a deeper journey. The goal is to put you into trance the same way you would naturally go to sleep.

#8 - About the Recording

As part of every QHHT session, I will record the regression for you. This is required and ensures you have access to everything that comes through.

After the session, I’ll send you the audio - usually through Google Drive - so you can listen back and integrate the messages more deeply.

Please follow the after-care instructions. This audio becomes incredibly valuable in the days and weeks after your session. You will remember exactly what you need to remember, and the recording will support anything that flows through.
